Real Brides: Madison

My husband and I actually met when he was working as a bouncer at a bar while I was out with my girlfriends. He came up and asked for my phone number, I gave it to him and ignored his calls and texts for about a month until I finally decided to give him a shot and we went out on a beautiful date and had a wonderful time.

I knew my wedding dress was the one when I put it on and couldn’t stop staring at myself in it. It was the second dress shop I went to (A’DoraBelle Bridal in Waterford, MI) and it was the first dress the consultant pulled for me. I felt beautiful even though I didn’t have makeup on or my hair styled. I tried on the rest of the dresses she pulled for me and had Princess in the back of my mind the whole time and used it as comparison for the rest of the dresses. It was the only dress that made my mom cry when she saw me in it. I tried it on a second time at the end of the session and knew for sure it was the one.
