We met at a mutual friend's Halloween party. He asked me out for dinner the very next night and I told him we would be better off staying friends, but the more we got to know each other the more I was drawn to him and we started officially dating a few months later. 

I knew we were having a non-traditional micro-wedding and I wasn't sure if I wanted a traditional wedding dress. My sister and I were engaged at the same time and went to a bridal shop together. I felt indifferent about everything I tried on. For a last attempt, the stylist took off the dress from the store window's mannequin, which had caught my eye. I instantly started beaming when I had it on and purchased it right away. I love the dress so much my seamstress is going to separate the skirt so I can wear it for anniversaries to come.
