Real Brides: Tiffany

The story of how I met my husband really isn't that special. We met at work. We worked at an alcohol distribution center and talked off and on for a few months before officially dating in October of 2017. We got engaged on our anniversary in October 2023. That story is pretty cute actually. I was upstairs getting ready for our annual anniversary zoo trip. When I was ready I came downstairs and my husband, Kyle, was in the kitchen. (side story) We keep those magnetic letters on our fridge to leave notes for each other. When I walked into the kitchen, I glanced at the fridge, and it said "Marry me" and there he was proposing in the middle of our kitchen. This was special because he knew I would get flustered with a ton of people around.
The story of finding my dress was interesting. I had been to a few stores and tried on a ton of dresses. In a previous appointment to our local bridal shop, J. Lynn Bridal, I had tried on a dress that I was convinced was the one. Kyle and I had an agreement that I couldn't buy a dress on impulse and I had to think about it first. I made a second appointment about a month later to try on the dress and purchase it. For fun, I wanted to try on more dresses to make double sure it was the right one. At the start of the appointment, I told the consultant not to throw me any curveballs. Well, Breeze was the first dress I tried on at that appointment. I loved her instantly. I continued the appointment and ended with the dress I thought I was going to buy. I asked to put on Breeze one more time for comparison. I started crying. Not happy tears, they were angry tears cause I wasn't sure what to do. After looking over the dress again, I knew Breeze was the one and I bought her that same day!
Fun fact: I bought 5 pairs of shoes before I decided which ones to wear on the big day. I also had pockets sewn into the dress.
