Real Brides: Dani

Their relationship started via social media, of course! Dani was on a bachelorette trip in South Carolina, drinking some adult beverages! She found a phone with Snapchat open on a table and posted a selfie on that person's story. She put the phone down and went on with the night. It turns out, it was the bride's account. The next morning, she got word that a few people were reaching out to the maid of honor, concerned the bride's phone had been stolen by a crazy blonde girl. Trevor was one of those people (narc)! He was told that not only was Dani a bridesmaid, but she was his partner in the wedding since he was a groomsman. He promptly said, "Oh I can't handle that." So, Dani messaged him on Instagram and said, "Stop talking crap (didn't say crap...)." They bantered back and forth for a while, then Dani never responded (oops).

On Easter, a few weeks later, Trevor reached out and said "Happy Easter!" and not a day has gone by since without talking to each other! They facetimed for almost two months, every single night, until they met at the wedding, where they walked down an aisle together for the first time as a bridesmaid and groomsman.

On August 8, 2021, Trevor asked Dani to be his girlfriend in Las Vegas. They celebrated with boxed wine from Trader Joe's!

Fast forward to 2023, Trevor and Dani flew to San Francsico to be with her family for Christmas. Trevor (not so secretly) asked Dani's dad for his blessing, and approximately 2 minutes later, Dani started crying tears of joy and forced Trevor to tell her the whole conversation.

On December 30, Dani and Trevor had returned home and she signed for the FedEx box that contained her engagement ring. Surprisingly, she didn't peek!

The next night, Trevor asked Dani to marry him on New Year's Eve at the Gilbert Water Tower (still the best night of their lives)!

The couple have had 3 years filled with so much love, so much Spike and Daisy, so many laughs, and some of the best memories. From concerts, being wedding dates, Beer Olympics, and lots of Real Housewives!

Dani feels like her wedding dress shopping story is truly one-of-a-kind. She currently manages the incredible Legacy Bridal Boutique in Gilbert, AZ, but at the time, she was working as a stylist just once a week. She had always known the style of dresses she loved—big and extra, of course—and had a few favorites in mind for her future wedding day, even though she wasn’t engaged yet.

One day, new stock arrived at the boutique, and Dani saw the dress on a mannequin. She didn’t think much of it at the time. But during a content creation session, she decided to try it on—and bam! She felt it in her gut: this was the dress. She instantly knew it was the one she wanted her boyfriend to see her in—but also knew she couldn’t show him, because it would be her wedding dress.

Months later, after getting engaged, Dani already knew what her dress would be, but she still wanted to give her mom and friends the full bridal appointment experience. The moment she stepped out in the gown, everyone cheered, and her mom immediately said, “That’s it!” Dani burst into tears—because just a few years earlier, they weren’t sure if her mom would even be there for that moment. Having her there meant everything.

Her wedding dress will always remind Dani of that day and how deeply grateful she is. She lovingly calls it “her baby,” and she’s never felt prettier, cooler, or more like a wife than when she wears it. She’s endlessly thankful to the incredible teams at Val Stefani and Legacy Bridal for helping make her dream dress a reality.
