Real Brides: Nicolette

Joe and I have been together for 11 years—June 22 is our dating anniversary! We met back in 2014 at a popular summer spot in Rhode Island called Chelo’s on the Water. Over the past decade, we’ve built a home together and adopted a rescue dog named Prince (he’s in the photo you saw!), and now Joe is not just my best friend—he’s my husband.

The wedding dress I chose was actually the second one I tried on at ThistleRose Bridal in Massachusetts. After trying on about 15 other dresses, I came back to it. To me, it was so unique. I had always said that if I got married, I didn’t want a bright white dress—I wanted something with unique details and sparkle. And with this gown, I got exactly that!
