The Love Story
Jeff and I met at a PGA Golf tournament. I was going to try to pass my number off to one of the professional players, but instead I was introduced to Jeff on the 1st tee box and we walked and spectated together for a few hours. We hit it off so fast and played golf every weekend together until he asked me to be his girlfriend. Golf is something we continue to enjoy together daily!
Alexis's Wedding Dress Shopping Story
I traveled from Northern California down to Southern California for a quick weekend trip to see friends and family. Though I didn't have a date or venue picked for the wedding and hadn't really started planning, I still was able to grab a last minute appointment at Mon Amie bridal. That in itself was the start of what was going to be a magical day! I knew I didn't want an A-line or strapless dress. I had pictured myself in something more sleek with spaghetti straps. I ended up choosing the first dress I tried on which was a strapless A-line but I knew it was special! After trying on several others, I went back to the first and still had this feeling that this was the one! We were engaged for another 18 months and through all that time I was so sure this was dress! My alterationist added matching detachable sleeves that still maintained the magic of the dainty pearl strands. This was a perfect touch!
