Real Brides: Anne

I got married in June 2018 at Casa Marina, a historic Spanish-style hotel on the beach, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. My husband's name is Spencer Wyatt and we met in Teach for America which is an AmeriCorps program where college graduates volunteer to teach in low-income school districts for two years. We were both placed in Jacksonville, Florida.

I flew up to D.C. for the weekend to dress shop with just my mom, which I always knew I would look with just her. I tried on three dresses, this dress was the first one-and we bought it. I knew it was the one because of the unique tan color underneath the off-white lace. I also loved how light-weight it was for my Florida wedding and the beautiful pattern in the lace. I was a very non-traditional bride and this dress gave me the chance to reflect that while still wearing a wedding gown.
