Real Brides: Kelsey

Kelsey and Garrett met in Chicago on June 23, 2014 in new hire orientation at their first job right out of college. Kelsey was so focused on her career that she hardly paid Garrett any attention. But Garrett knew Kelsey was the one and spent the entire summer chasing her until she realized what he already knew since day one. Thank goodness Garrett was persistent because these two are a match made in heaven and as the story goes, they fell in love, got married in the city where they found love 5 years later and lived happier ever after! o When trying on wedding dresses at Mon Amie Bridal Salon in Costa Mesa, CA, I had a vision of what I wanted - lace, back detail, fitted and timeless. I tried on a handful of dresses that just weren't doing anything for me. Then I tried on the Garland dress. I immediately fell in love and instantly felt like a bride. Like every other bride, I wanted to have that moment. And this dress gave me that moment and more! When I walked out to my entourage, I knew it was the one just by their reactions. Their faces and "ooos" and "ahhs" said it all. When I stepped up on the pedestal, looked at myself in the mirror, turned to look at the back detail and then looked at my mom, we both shared a moment of smiles and tears. We knew this was the one. The wedding dress that my dad would walk me down the aisle in and the wedding dress I would marry the man of my dreams in. It was such a magical moment. You also know when you found your dress when all you want to do is try it on over the next year as you await your alternations and big day!
